Territory Air Services Privacy Policy 

Territory Air Services (TAS) is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers, employees, contractors and partners. This policy outlines how we collect, use, store and share personal information in accordance through the abidance of the Australian Privacy Principles as per the Privacy Act 1988. The Australian Privacy Principles govern the collection, use, disclosure, storage, security and disposal of your Personal Information. The Australian Privacy Principles can be obtained from The Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. 

Territory Air Services collects, holds, uses and/or discloses personal information related to individuals (including customers, contractors, suppliers, employees and job applicants) as necessary for our business activities. This information may be accessed by certain Territory Air Services employees who require it to perform their duties. This policy and associated Guidelines outline Territory Air Services’ approach to protecting personal information. 

What is Personal Information? 

Personal information includes information or opinions about an identifiable individual, whether true or not, and in any form. This policy also covers sensitive information as defined in the Privacy Act.

TAS collects personal information from individuals, businesses, booking agents and contractors for the purpose of providing air charter and transport services. This information may include:

  • Information about accompanying minors

  • Third-party booking agents or agencies acting on behalf of customers

Storage and Security of Personal Information 

TAS takes reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorized access and modification. We securely maintain passenger records: 

  • Electronically in our secure booking system 
  • In hardcopy travel records stored securely on-site 

Electronic records are protected by passwords, firewalls and other security measures. Hardcopy records are securely stored and destroyed after 12 months, unless required to be kept longer by law. 

Access codes and padlocks for the Company building, car park, airside gate and storage facilities are changed on a 6 week basis to account for potential security leaks and ensure that any sensitive information is kept secure.

Access and Correction of Personal Information 

You have the right to request access to personal information TAS holds about you. To request access or corrections, email The Manager at info@territoryairservices.com.au. Include details of the information you are seeking and your contact information for identity verification.
